My Check Engine light has come on. Can I still drive? - If the light is on and not blinking then In most cases your vehicle should be able to be driven. Make sure to have it checked out as soon as possible. A check engine light can be an indication that a major repair is looming if preventative maintenance is not performed soon. It can also mean that a repair or tune-up is needed that will better your engines performance or efficiency (MPG's). Bottom line, don't let a minor inconvenience turn into a hefty repair bill. I need to run some errands while I am waiting. Do you provide loaner cars? - We do our best to provide a loaner car for every customer that needs one so don't be afraid to ask. All that we will need is a copy of your drivers license, a valid proof of insurance, and a signed loaner agreement. If the repair is going to take a day or two then Holm Auto has rental cars available that may be covered by your warranty or insurance provider. How Much is an Oil Change? - Since different vehicles require different amounts and different types of oil, it's best to ask your service adviser for the current rate. Holm Auto does work hard to make sure our oil change price is competitive. Our philosophy is if you visit us for your scheduled maintenance then you will be so impressed by our customer service and the overall experience that you will come see us for all of your vehicle sales and service needs! Don't forget to ask about our oil change coupon! You can get every 5th oil change free!My car is doing _______ or it's making _______ noise. What do I do? - That's a tough one! The first step is to call one of our service advisers. They have heard many descriptions and may be able to offer a recommendation. If you are worried that driving the vehicle may cause additional damage then let them tell you what the best course of action is.
I just can't find the time to get in for an oil change. Are you open on Saturday's? - We understand that today's life is a busy one. Our Service Department is open until 2PM on Saturday and until 8PM on Thursday to help accommodate your busy schedule. Do you live or work in Abilene? Just ask us to pick up your vehicle we will gladly do so and have it back before you need it! Even if you live in Salina, Junction City, Fort Riley, Manhattan, or Ellsworth Kansas, we have drivers running parts and used vehicles all over so it just may work out.
