Buick Creates Virtual Hard Roads for Testing
Buick is working on technology at their R&D department that will create virtual replicas of the worst roads in the world, in order to study future vehicles.
Istanbul native Mine (Mee-NAY) Tasci and her team of engineers created an innovative road scanner that makes detailed 3D digital representations of some of the toughest real-world surfaces. She then drives digital Buick vehicles on those roads to monitor quality and reliability.
