Chevrolet Volt Production to Increase

The all new hybrid electric Chevrolet Volt, is making such a huge dent in their sales numbers that an increase of production has been ordered by the American auto maker. The company posted a 25% increase in sales so far in 2011. This is mostly due to the popularity of the all new Volt, redesigned Chevrolet Malibu and first-gen Chevrolet Cruze.

Buick's New Green Machine

Buick is going greener. In a few months, the American automaker plans to introduce the 2012 LaCrosse eAssist. The new green machine is expected to deliver 25 mpg-city/37 mpg-highway. By comparison, the 2011 LaCrosse (with the same 4-cylinder engine) delivered only 19 mpg-city/30 mpg-hwy. Such a rise in mpg can yield an impressive 30 percent gain in fuel economy.

Chevrolet Pumps Up 2012 Camaro

Who has one of the most powerful engines in a muscle car today? Chevrolet's Camaro. Its 312 horsepower V6 is actually the most intense powerplant among Detroit's three V6 sports cars. But the folks at General Motors aren't satisfied.
