Chevrolet is setting their production of Special-Edition Camaros at warp speed. The plan is to release two Special-Edition Camaros per year.
The first in the long line of soon to be released special edition muscle cars is the 2012 ZL1, which recently debuted at the Chicago auto show. The next Special-Edition Chevrolet Camaro, expected to be unveiled just in time for Dark of the Moon in the summer of 2011, is inspired by the Transformers. Next will be a replica of the Chevrolet Camaro SS Convertible, set to be the pace car at the Indianapolis 500. And finally, a V6-powered limited-edition Camaro Synergy, which promises the supped-up performance of a V8.
By our count, that's four Special-Edition Camaros on the way - enough to take us to next year. What happens in 2013 remains to be seen. Adding more historical variants is one likely option.
Regardless, Holm Automotive Center - 2005 N Buckeye - Abilene, Kansas 67410 is very eager to take Chevrolet's imminent Special Editions for a spin. In the mean time, however, we'll revel in the 2011 lineup, which includes: the 2011 Camaro Coupe LS, 2011 Camaro Coupe 1LT, 2011 Camaro Coupe 2LT, 2011 Camaro Convertible 1 LT, 2011 Camaro Coup 1SS, 2011 Camaro Convertible 2LT, 2011 Camaro Coupe 2SS, 2011 Camaro Convertible 1SS, and 2011 Camaro Convertible 2SS.
While they don't have the official Special-Edition prefix; each is engineered to deliver an extraordinary driving experience.
